Daniel Shin, MD

Dr. Daniel Shin is a urologic surgeon hailing from Memphis, TN, and is proud to offer his expertise and compassionate care to patients in the area of Oxford, MS.

Dr. Shin’s journey in medicine began at Yale University, where he obtained his undergraduate degree. Recognizing his passion for urology, he pursued his medical education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

After medical school, Dr. Shin completed his urology residency at the University of Southern California, a top ten residency program. During his residency, he trained under esteemed urologists and gained invaluable experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of urological conditions.

Prior to relocating to Memphis, Dr. Shin served as the Chief of Urology at Kaiser Permanente Orange County, where he honed his leadership abilities and solidified his reputation as a respected urologist. His tenure in this position allowed him to work closely with a diverse patient population, further expanding his expertise and refining his approach to patient care.

Dr. Shin has earned board certification in urology and has special expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of enlarged prostates (benign prostatic hyperplasia), urologic cancers, kidney stone disease, and male sexual health. He is skilled in transurethral resection of prostate, Urolift, Rezum, and MRI fusion prostate biopsy.
