UroLift®

UroLift Treatment for BPH in Oxford, MS

UroLift is a patented system used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). BPH is an enlargement of the prostate gland, which affects many men, typically those of an older age.

Benefits of the UroLift System

UroLift possesses many advantages over traditional treatment methods, the primary being that no cuts or sutures are required with UroLift. A local anesthetic is typically all that patients need during their insertion procedure, and they can often return home soon after they are treated for BPH.

Results of UroLift are also long lasting. No maintenance is needed, which gives patients the ability to quickly return to their regular activities with renewed control over their urinary system.

Oxford Urology Associates has been recognized as a UroLift Center of Excellence. Dr. Brent Hardin is expertly trained using the UroLift System and has treated more than 535 patients using UroLift. Dr. Hardin is Mississippi's leading UroLift procedure specialist having performed more procedures than any other urologist in Mississippi.
